What is required of oral presenters at the conference?

  • Conference delegates whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation (i.e. conference presenters) should prepare a ten minute presentation using PowerPoint slides.

  • The PowerPoint presentation should be sent to the conference committee in advance of the conference

  • On the day, the conference committee will simply open the presentation and the speaker will begin discussing their work.

  • Following the conclusion of the presentation, there will be a five minute slot to allow the audience to ask the presenter any questions they may have about the work that has been presented.

What is required of poster presenters at the conference?

  • Conference delegates whose abstracts have been accepted for poster presentation should send us their poster in pdf format no later than 5pm 12th September (with their contact details clearly included on the poster)

  • On the day of the conference, the posters will be displayed on boards in tutorial rooms, and will be available for all conference attendees to view, during which the poster presenters will have an opportunity to answer any questions.
